Making homemade salad dressing is quite easy and the flavor is so much better than the bottled dressings you find at the store. With a handful of ingredients you likely have on hand you can create a delicious vinaigrette that goes well with almost any salad. My Lemon Thyme Vinaigrette is easy to make and comes together in a snap.

I’m not a fan of most storebought dressings so I usually make my salad dressings from scratch. The basics of making any vinaigrette include having an acid (in this case lemon juice) and oil. For this dressing I also added dijon mustard not just for it’s flavor but it also helps elmusify the vinaigrette making it creamy and bright. This dressing is quite versatile and can be used on any number of salads including my Asparagus and Pea Salad, Pea Salad with Mint and Feta, Cucumber Tomato Salad and Mediterranean White Bean Salad.
