Fresh strawberries are always a treat and one of my favorite ways to highlight these delicious berries is in a creamy strawberry mousse. With your blender doing most of the work this is a five star dessert that is deceptively easy to make. Luscious and light my Easy Strawberry Mousse is a delicious no bake dessert that takes just minutes to prepare and you can easily make ahead of time.

I first learned this method of making mousse after a visit to the Azores where I tasted and learned how to make this delicious passion fruit mousse , and once I learned how easy this was to make I had to see how it worked with strawberries and I am smitten. For other fresh strawberry recipes be sure to take a look at my Rustic Strawberry Galette and Strawberry Blondies.

Ingredients

  • unflavored powdered gelatin
  • water
  • fresh strawberries
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • heavy cream
  • lemon juice

How to Make Strawberry Mousse

As spectacular as this dessert looks and tastes strawberry mousse is incredibly easy to make and your blender does most of the work. Mix the gelatin and water in a small bowl, heat in the microwave for 30 seconds and set aside. Place the fresh strawberries, condensed milk, heavy cream, lemon juice and gelatin mixture in a high speed blender. Blend at medium speed for 5 minutes. Divide the strawberry mousse among 6 dessert dishes or glass jars  and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to set. Serve as desired.

This strawberry mousse is light and full of flavor. Perfect for a summer dessert. The best thing about the recipe is how easy it is to make. The blender and fridge are doing all the work. I will be making this after every time I visit the local strawberry patch. Thank you Brianna for sharing this quick yet elegant dish.
