Any barbecue fan knows that barbecue styles and sauces are intensely regional and vary from state to state. Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce is a mustard based sauce popular in South Carolina. When German immigrants arrived to South Carolina they added mustard to the region’s vinegar based sauce. The result is a sauce that’s tangy, rich and slightly sweet making it a perfect match for Carolina pulled pork.
