This is the best balsamic dressing recipe and far better than store-bought salad dressing! The basics of making any vinaigrette include having an acid (in this instance balsamic vinegar) and a good quality oil. Dijon mustard and honey are used not only for flavor but they also help elmusify the viniagrette giving this dressing a creamy texture. A good aged balsamic vinegar will give your dressing a greater depth of flavor but you can certainly use a basic balsamic for this dressing recipe.
With a tangy flavor and a few simple ingredients this balsamic vinaigrette recipe is one I make every week. This easy balsamic vinaigrette is quite versatile and can be used on any number of salad recipes including my Kale and Apple Salad, Beet and Burrata Salad, and Spinach and Strawberry Salad.
