How to Make an Maple Apple Cider Margarita
I’m a huge fan of classic margaritas but love getting creative with drinks like my pineapple coconut margarita, blood orange margarita, pineapple mezcal margarita and chambord raspberry margarita. This maple apple cider margarita is just as delicious and quite sime to make. The base of any good margarita is a high quality tequila, you can use a silver or blanco tequila but I like the caramel notes that a reposado (tequila aged in oak barrels less than a year).
Coat a the rim of a glass with maple syrup and flaky sea salt and then add ice. In a cocktail shaker (I love this decorative cocktail shaker) with ice add the tequila, apple cider, Cointreau or other orange liqueur, lime juice and maple syrup and shake for 30 seconds or until well combined. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with rosemary or a cinnamon stick.

Ok. Not great. I’ll drink it but won’t make it again. Was looking for a way to use up the apple cider. I bought for a butternut squash soup recipe.
