Making a good margarita from scratch is quite simple and makes a great base for adding different flavors. Guava, a tropical fruit popular throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, has a bright flavor that tastes like a cross between strawberries and pineapple. This guava margarita, also known as a guavarita, adds a tropical flavor and a bit of sweetness to the classic margarita with the addition of guava nectar.
