A clafoutis is a simple French dessert consisting of a custard-like batter baked up with fresh summer fruit. A classic clafoutis hails from Limousin, France and is made with the region’s black cherries but the recipe can be adapted to almost any fruit. Similar to a dutch baby pancake the batter is a mix milk, eggs, sugar and flour that’s baked until golden and puffy.
