We all have those busy nights where you still want to get a healthy, homemade dinner on the table and this salmon recipe is a go-to for that. Mix together a simple glaze with three ingredients (five if we’re counting salt and pepper) brush it over a few salmon filets and roast over high heat for just 12 minutes and you’ve got a main dish done in no time. Ingredients
- mustard (dijon or whole grain)
- maple syrup
- smoked paprika
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper
- 4 salmon filets
How to Make Maple Mustard Salmon
Preheat the oven to 450 ℉. In a small bowl stir together the mustard( I used whole grain as that’s what I had, but you can also use dijon), maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt and pepper until fully combined.
Placed the salmon filets on a baking sheet lined with a silicon baking mat or aluminum foil. Brush the salmon filets evenly with the mustard glaze. Bake the salmon for 12 minutes ensuring it’s reached a temperature of at least 145℉. Serve as desired.
What to Serve with Maple Mustard Salmon
This Maple Mustard Salmon is great for those busy weeknights and goes with any number of sides. Serve thise with potatoes, sweet potatoes and rice along with your favorite veggies. My Chipotle Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes with Leeks, Israeli Couscous with Spinach, Sauteed Kale and Mushrooms, and Maple Balsamic Brussels Sprouts would all be great with this easy salmon dinner.
