Combining the best parts of both drinks this coconut pineapple margarita is sure to be a hit all summer long. For any cocktail fresh lime juice is best and cream of coconut brings in a creamy sweetness. For an extra tropical presentation rim your glass with toasted coconut, or you garnish with fresh pineapple or a fun tropical umbrella
Ingredients for Pineapple Coconut Margarita
- tequila (blanco or reposado)
- pineapple juice
- Cointreau
- cream of coconut (not coconut cream or coconut milk)
- freshly squeezed lime juice
- agave nectar
- shredded coconut toasted
How to Make a Pineapple Coconut Margarita
Garnish your glass by dipping the rim in agave nectar and then shredded coconut. Add ice and set aside.
Pour tequila, pineapple juice, Cointreau, cream of coconut and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds or until well chilled. Strain into the prepared glass and serve as desired.
