Equipment

  • 1 Cocktail Shaker
  • 1 Cocktail jigger

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz tequila blanco or reposado
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz cream of coconut
  • 1 oz lime juice

For garnish

  • agave nectar
  • shredded coconut toasted

Instructions
 

  • Garnish your glass by dipping the rim in agave nectar and then shredded coconut. Add ice and set aside.
  • Pour tequila, pineapple juice, Cointreau, cream of coconut and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds or until well chilled.
  • Strain into the prepared glass and serve as desired.

Notes

To make toasted coconut added shredded coconut to a skillet over medium heat. Cook about 10 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
