Creamy eggnog is one of my favorite holiday treats and gets even better when elevated into an elegant Christmas cocktail. Take your favorite eggnog, add in a bit of vodka and amaretto and top it all of with a dash of nutmeg. My Eggnog Martini recipe is sure to keep that festive spirit going all season long.

With just a handful of ingredients these eggnog martinis are a simple, yet festive cocktail for the holiday season. Use your favorite eggnog (feel free to use a non-dairy eggnog as well) and jazz it up with a bit of vodka and amaretto (a sweet Italian almond liqueur) and dusted with freshly grated nutmeg for a drink that’s perfect whether our relaxing by the fire or rockin’ around the Christmas tree. I added a 1/2 oz of gold rum to mine since I usually serve eggnog with that spirit. Otherwise this is a great recipe!

This sounds delicious, I love eggnog. But I was wondering, if made in a pitcher, do you mix it with ice before pouring?

If making in a pitcher I would mix everything up without ice and refrigerate it until needed,

Nice and creamy and full of flavor. I used caramel syrup instead of Maple syrup for the rim. Will definitely be making more of these this season.
