If there is any holiday worthy of a fun, beautiful cocktail its Halloween and one of my favorites is the Vampire Kiss. A striking blood red martini with Chambord and topped with champagne the Vampire Kiss Cocktail is eerie yet elevated. Equal parts spooky and sophisticated this Vampire Kiss Cocktail is perfect for Halloween.

Vampire Kiss Cocktail Variations

  • Use pomegranate liqueur and pomegranate juice in place of the Chambord and cranberry juice
  • Try cranberry vodka for a very cranberry drink
  • For a lighter cocktail use sparkling water instead of champagne

Fun Vampire Kiss Cocktail Decorations

I love using crushed freeze dried raspberries for a tasty and delicious cocktail glass rim, though you can also use red sanding sugar. This skeleton ice cube mold makes great spooky cubes, or you can use these skull cocktail picks with Luxardo cherries. These skeleton hand goblets are super fun and edible glitter will add a mystical element to any drink.

How to Make a Vampire Kiss Cocktail

Vampire Kiss Cocktail

The Vampire Kiss is a simple Halloween martini to make. Start first with garnishing your martini glass. Take 2 small, flat plates and add 1 tsp of Chambord to one and and the crushed freeze dried raspberries (or red sanding sugar) to the other. Roll the rim of your martini glass into the Chambord first and then into the crushed raspberries or red sugar. In a cocktail shaker with ice add vodka, Chambord and cranberry juice. Shake for 30 seconds or until well combined and chilled. Pour into the prepared martini glass and top with champagne.

Absolutely the best Vampire Kiss recipe. Proseco champagne makes this over the top.
