When it comes to feeding a group sliders are always a good bet, and these sliders take inspiration from Philadelphia’s most iconic sandwich. With grilled onions and bell peppers and gooey provolone this ode to a Philly favorite hits all the right notes. My recipe for Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are delicious, easy to make and perfect for any party.

The cheesesteak is one of Philadelphia’s signature bites. A classic cheesesteak is made with thinly shaved ribeye and since I didn’t want to mess with perfection I used sliced ribeye here (though sirloin would also be a great option). Fried onions are traditional ( you can order your cheeseteak “wit” or “witout” onions) though peppers and mushrooms are also popular. When it comes to cheese you can go for Cheez Wiz, American, or my personal favorite provolone.
