Equipment

  • 1 cast iron skillet or griddle
  • 1 Baking Sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 pound ribeye steak sliced and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce divided
  • 1 12 count pack sweet Hawaiian style rolls
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.
  • Heat the olive oil in the cast iron skillet or griddle over medium high heat. Add the onions and green bell bepper and cook for 5 minutes or until the onions are soft and transluscent. Add the steak and sprinkle with salt, black pepper and Wochestershire. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Slice the rolls in half horizontally, making sure to keep them intact, and place them on a baking sheet. Spread the steak and onion mixture over the bottom half of the buns and top the steak with provolone cheese. Top with the remaining buns.
  • Stir together the melted butter and remaining Worchestershire sauce and brush over the top of the buns. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
  • Cut into individual sliders and serve as desired.
