Ingredients for Balsamic Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts
- 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tap ground black pepper
For the glaze
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
How to Make Balsamic Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half and place in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt and pepper and toss to combine.
Place the Brussels sprouts , cut side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Transfer to the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy.
While the Brussel sprouts are baking prepare the sauce. Add balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and dijon mustard to a small saucepan and whisk together. Bring to a simmer over medium low heat and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce reduces and slightly thickens. Transfer sauce to a small bowl. Drizzle the balsamic maple glaze over the Brussel sprouts and serve as desired.
