All Brussels sprouts need to shine are a few ingredients and some time in the oven and become sublime when glazed with a sweet balsamic glaze. This recipe for Balsamic Maple Brussel Sprouts is delicious and easy to make.
Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half and place in a large bowl. Add olive oils, salt and pepper and toss to combine.
Place the Brussels sprouts , cut side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Transfer to the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy.
While the Brussel sprouts are baking prepare the sauce. Add balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and dijon mustard to a small saucepan and whisk together. Bring to a simmer over medium low heat and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce reduces and slightly thickens. Transfer sauce to a small bowl.
Drizzle the balsamic maple glaze over the Brussel sprouts and serve as desired.
