Balsamic Maple Roasted Brussels Spouts

All Brussels sprouts need to shine are a few ingredients and some time in the oven and become sublime when glazed with a sweet balsamic glaze. This recipe for Balsamic Maple Brussel Sprouts is delicious and easy to make.

Equipment

  • 1 large sheet pan
  • 1 small saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tap ground black pepper

For the glaze

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  • Trim the Brussels sprouts, cut them in half and place in a large bowl. Add olive oils, salt and pepper and toss to combine.
  • Place the Brussels sprouts , cut side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Transfer to the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts are crispy.
  • While the Brussel sprouts are baking prepare the sauce. Add balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and dijon mustard to a small saucepan and whisk together. Bring to a simmer over medium low heat and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce reduces and slightly thickens. Transfer sauce to a small bowl.
  • Drizzle the balsamic maple glaze over the Brussel sprouts and serve as desired.
