Dijon mustard always adds a gourmet touch while a quick roast in the oven at high heat intensifies all the flavors. Dijon Mustard Roasted Asparagus is a quick and easy vegetable side dish that will make a perfect addition to any meal.

- White and green asparagus come from the same plant. Asparagus gets it’s green color from chlorophyl once it’s exposed to the sun, to keep asparagus white the plant is kept in the dark until it matures.

- Asparagus
- Dijon mustard
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
How to Make Dijon Mustard Roasted Asparagus
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rinse and trim the ends of the asparagus and place on the baking sheet. Stir together dijon mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper until fully combined. Brush the dijon mixture over the asparagus. Bake the asparagus for 12 minutes. Serve as desired.

Dijon Mustard Roasted Asparagus
Equipment
- 1 large sheet pan
- 1 Silicon baking mat
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch asparagus about 1 pound
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp olive oil
- pinch kosher salt
- pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rinse and trim the ends of the asparagus and place on the baking sheet.
- Stir together dijon mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper until fully combined. Brush the dijon mixture over the asparagus.
- Bake the asparagus for 12 minutes. Serve as desired.
