I love an easy cocktail, especially when it’s as refreshing as a Gin Mule. Also called a London Mule or a Gin-Gin Mule, this combination of herbal lime and spicy ginger beer is effervescent and delicious. This gin mule is easy to make and perfect for any celebration.

The London Mule is part of the family of mule cocktails which consist of a spirit, lime juice and ginger beer. In the case of the London Mule the spirit is gin which lends an herbal note to the cocktail. No matter what mule variation you make ( take a look at the list below) it is traditional to serve this drink in a copper mug.

London Mule – gin, lime juice, ginger beer

Irish Mule – Irish whiskey, lime juice, ginger beer

Moscow Mule – vodka, lime juice, ginger beer

Kentucky Mule – bourbon, lime juice, ginger beer

Caribbean Mule – rum, lime juice, ginger beer

Mexican Mule – tequila, lime juice, ginger beer
