Ingredients
- fresh green beans or haricot verts, trimmed
- garlic
- olive oil
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper
Cooking Tips
- For a variation on these easy green beans add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon zest and/or 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese to the green beans before you roast them.
- You can also garnish these green beans with fresh herbs like parsley, basil or thyme.
- To make these green bean a little richer toss with a pat of salted butter after the’ve finished roasting
How to Make Garlic Roasted Green Beans


This is one of the best green bean recipes you’ll ever make and it’s incredibly easy. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees ℉ and if needed trim the ends of the green beans with a knife. In a large bowl add the green beans, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and toss to fully combine. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking pan lined with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper.
Roast the green beans for 18-20 minutes. The gree beans should be slightly crisp yet tender and the garlic will be golden. Serve as desired.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
