  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • silicon making mat or parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans or haricot verts trimmed
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees ℉.
  • In a large bowl add the green beans, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and toss to fully combine. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper.
  • Roast the green beans for 18-20 minutes. The gree beans should be slightly crisp yet tender and the garlic will be golden. Serve as desired.

Notes

For a variation on these easy green beans add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon zest and/or 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese to the green beans before you roast them. You can also garnish these green beans with fresh herbs like parsley, basil or thyme.
