The French are connoiseurs of simple elegegance and that certainly extends to their cocktails. Champagne is always a good choice but the addition of Chambord is a fun yet sophistated addition. The Kir Imperial is an easy and delicious champagne cocktail perfect for any celebration.

Part of the family of simple French champagne cocktails that includes the French 75 (champagne, lemon juice and simple syrup) and the Kir Royale ( champagne and creme de cassis ) the Kir Imperial pairs champange with Chambord, a sweet rasperry liqueur.
