Easy Basil Vinaigrette

This basil vinaigrette is delicious and easy to make. Use as a dressing on salads or as a sauce for chicken, fish, pasta and vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Add the basil leaves, garlic,red wine vinegar, dijon mustard, salt, pepper and olive oil to a high speed blender. Blend for 1 minute ensuring everything is well combined and the dressing is smooth..
  • Transfer to a glass container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
