2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon groun black pepper 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
In a medium mixing bowl whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt and ground black pepper.
Add in the halved cherry tomatoes and basil and stir to gently toss the tomatoes, ensuring they are coated with the vinaigrette.
Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours before serving.
