Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pineapple chunks
  • 2 oz lime juice
  • 4 oz mezcal
  • 2 oz Cointreau
  • Margarita salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Place pineapple, lime juice, mezcal and Cointreau in a blender. Blend at medium speed for 1 minute or until thoroughly combined.
  • Rim two margarita glasses with salt if desired. Divide margarita between both glasses.

Notes

I like the texture of the pineapple in this margarita but you can strain it before serving if desired.
