Add pasta, 3.5 cups broth (if the pasta dries out during cooking add up to another 1/2 cup of broth or water), garlic, sat and pepper to a large pot and bring to a boil. Set a timer for 11 minutes, or per pasta package directions.
Once there is 5 minutes left on the timer add in asparagus, then once once there is 3 minutes remaining add in the shrimp and peas.
Once the pasta is done cooking remove the pot from the heat and stir in parmesan. Serve as desired.
Notes
You can halve this recipe for a smaller portion however leftovers reheat wonderfully.
