Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz pasta, such as penne or fusilli
  • 3.5 -4 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Add pasta, 3.5 cups broth (if the pasta dries out during cooking add up to another 1/2 cup of broth or water), garlic, sat and pepper to a large pot and bring to a boil. Set a timer for 11 minutes, or per pasta package directions.
  • Once there is 5 minutes left on the timer add in asparagus, then once once there is 3 minutes remaining add in the shrimp and peas.
  • Once the pasta is done cooking remove the pot from the heat and stir in parmesan. Serve as desired.

Notes

You can halve this recipe for a smaller portion however leftovers reheat wonderfully.
