This cranberry apple cider punch combines three simple ingredients for a drink that tastes like fall in a glass. Apple cider brings natural sweetness, cranberry juice adds a bright, tart flavor, and ginger beer gives the punch a refreshing fizz with a hint of spice. Fresh orange and apple slices make it as pretty as it is delicious.

Simply stir everything together in a pitcher or punch bowl, add the fresh fruit, and serve. It’s an excellent nonalcoholic option for your Thanksgiving dinner, Friendsgiving, fall brunches, and holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Apple cider
  • Cranberry juice
  • Ginger beer or ginger ale
  • Apples, sliced
  • Orange, sliced

Tips and Variations

  • Use Ginger ale: Ginger beer adds a kick of ginger flavor that I love. For a milder flavor, use ginger ale instead.
  • Adjust the sweetness: Add 1/2 cup-1 cup of flavored simple syrup like my Cinnamon Simple Syrup, Honey Ginger Syrup or Vanilla Simple Syrup
  • Choose your Cranberry: Cranberry juice cocktail will make a sweeter punch, while 100% cranberry juice creates a more tart drink.
  • Add a hit of citrus: Add in 1/2 – 1 cup of lemon juice or orange juice
  • Add a festive garnish: add fresh cranberries, cinnamon sticks, or a sprig of rosemary.
  • Change up the fruit: Pear slices are a lovely addition, while lemon slices add a little extra citrus flavor.
  • Make it a cocktail: Add bourbon, dark rum, or vodka for a cocktail variation. Start with adding 1/2 cup and adjust as desired.(For more apple cider cocktails take a look at my apple cider bourbon punch, apple cider martini and apple cider mimosa)
  • Prepare ahead: Combine the apple cider and cranberry juice a few hours before serving and refrigerate until ready. Add the ginger beer and fresh fruit just before serving to preserve the bubbles.

How to Make Cranberry Apple Cider Punch

1. Combine the juices. Pour the apple cider and cranberry juice into a large pitcher or punch bowl. Stir until well combined.

2. Add the ginger beer. Pour in the ginger beer or ginger ale and gently stir to combine.

3. Add the fresh fruit. Slice the apples and orange and add them to the pitcher or punch bowl.

4. Serve. Pour into glasses over ice cubes, if desired. Garnish with additional apple slices, orange slices, or fresh cranberries for a festive touch.

Storage

Store leftover punch in an airtight pitcher or covered container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The ginger beer will gradually lose its carbonation the longer you store it.
