Prepare the salad. Add the sliced cherry tomatoes, diced avocado and chopped cilantro to a bowl. Pour in the olive oil, lime juice, salt and pepper. Stirm ensuring the slad is well combined and set aside.
Preheat grill or grill pan to high heat.Pat skirt steak dry with paper towels and season well with salt and pepper on both sides.
