Ingredients
  

For the Blueberry Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup blueberries fresh or frozen

For the Blueberry Lime Gin and Tonic

  • 1 oz blueberry simple syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 2 oz gin
  • ice
  • 4 oz tonic water

Instructions
 

For the Blueberry Simple Syrup

  • In a small sauce pan combine water, sugar and blueberries. Stirring occasionally, cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved, the berries have burst and the syrup is a deep indigo color. Strain the berries out and refrigerate the syrup until you're ready to use it.

For the Blueberry Lime Gin and Tonic

  • In a highball glass add the simple syrup, lime juice and gin. Add ice and top with tonic. Garnish with fresh blueberries if desired.
