Chicken wings are quite easy to make at home and are even better when made with your smoker. Crispy, smoky and delicious on their own or glazed in your favorite sauce this simple recipe for Smoked Chicken Wings will make some of the best wings you've ever had.

Equipment

  • pellet smoker

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds chicken wings (drums and flats)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit according to manufacturer's directions.
  • Pat chicken wings dry using a paper towel. Mix together baking powder and salt. In a large bowl toss together chicken wings and baking powder mixture until thoroughly coated.
  • Place the chicken wings into the smoker, directly on the grates. Close the lid and smoke the chicken wings for 30 minutes.
  • Increase the heat of the smoker to 425 degrees F. Continue to cook the chicken wings for another 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 170 degrees F.
  • Remove from the grill and serve as desired. Serve as is or toss the wings in your favorite sauce.
