Equipment

  • 9x13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp ranch seasoning optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large bowl stir chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and green onions together until fully combined.
  • Cut Hawaiian rolls in half, ensuring to keep them in tact. Place bottom half of rolls in a 9x13 baking dish then spread the chicken mixture evenly over top. Place the remaining half of the rolls on top.
  • Combine melted butter and ranch seasoning (if using) and brush over rolls. Place rolls in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Allow the rolls to rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting into individual sliders.

Notes

These buffalo chicken sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for up to three months. Assemble the sliders as listed above without adding the melted butter.  Wrap the sliders in plastic wrap and freeze.  When ready to serve take them out of the freezer, bring to room temperature before brushing on the butter and baking.
